Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and grow engineering talent through coaching, mentorship, and career development
• Own and execute the roadmap for cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and reliability initiatives
• Design, build, and operate a scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platform infrastructure
• Drive automation across infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operations
• Establish best practices for system reliability, observability, incident response, and disaster recovery
• Provide technical leadership and make architectural decisions regarding trade-offs and risks
• Own operational excellence through metrics, SLAs/SLOs, and continuous performance improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing and developing software engineers
• Strong experience with CI/CD systems, infrastructure automation, and release engineering
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and distributed systems architecture
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or Java
• Experience with observability tooling and incident management practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
