About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the engineering team for industrial fastener products, overseeing design, development, and process optimization.
  • Drive the New Product Development (NPD) process to ensure products meet market and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate daily departmental operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Purchasing departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Continuously improve existing products by enhancing performance and reducing costs through innovative technologies.
  • Mentor and develop engineering team members to foster a culture of high performance and innovation.
  • Support intellectual property protection and participate in technical discussions with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of engineering, R&D, or process management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial fastener product design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in product development and project management.
  • Proficiency in English for technical communication and coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience specifically within the fastener industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality management systems.
