Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to set priorities, run sprints, and own delivery
• Write production code and review architecture decisions
• Hire, onboard, and provide regular feedback to grow engineers
• Partner with product and design to shape the roadmap
• Identify and remove blockers to maintain team velocity
• Work with the Head of Engineering on cross-team initiatives and culture

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering management
• Hands-on technical ability with TypeScript
• Strong product orientation and user-outcome focus
• Operational rigor in sprint planning and retrospectives
• AI-fluency and experience using AI coding tools
• Bachelor's degree minimum

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing in a fast-growing startup environment
• Proficiency with Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, and Inngest
• Background in AI/ML product development
• Experience scaling teams through rapid hiring
