Responsibilities

  • Lead the team that establishes foundational GRC processes and architecture
  • Design and build automated workflows for risk management and compliance
  • Build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information from across the technology stack
  • Translate written policies and compliance requirements into policy-as-code
  • Design and deploy agentic AI workflows using Claude to automate evidence analysis and monitor control effectiveness
  • Design and maintain integrations connecting GRC tooling with cloud infrastructure, identity management, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Build and lead an AI-forward GRC engineering function including hiring and technical roadmap definition

Requirements

  • Systems thinking mindset with understanding of complex data flows and integration points
  • Deep focus on data integration, normalization, and insight surfacing
  • Proficiency with APIs and integration patterns (REST, webhooks, authentication flows)
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in early-stage programs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and DevSecOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of total experience with 3-4+ years of technical management experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing and scaling automated workflows or data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and data transformation
  • Experience designing or implementing AI-powered automation or agentic workflows
  • Experience with GRC platforms such as ServiceNow, Vanta, Drata, or OneTrust
  • Prior experience in high-growth startup environments
