Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution for the Core Product team, including delivery, quality, and scope trade-offs.
• Embed AI tooling into the development lifecycle to accelerate cycles and improve code quality.
• Architect AI-powered systems and automation that multiply team productivity and output.
• Partner with Product and Design from early strategy through production to define technical direction.
• Develop and mentor engineers, investing in their growth and building a high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with recruiting to hire top-tier engineering talent and maintain a high bar for excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Proven experience with AI-driven development and a clear perspective on how AI accelerates output.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs.
• A track record of developing engineers and supporting their career growth.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in NYC, attending the office 3-4 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building core product features such as scheduling, payments, or client management tools.
• Customer-centric mindset that connects technical decisions to business outcomes.
• Ability to move quickly and make decisions with incomplete information.
