Engineering Manager - Firmware

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision for proprietary enterprise storage hardware and the Everpure™ DirectFlash™ Module (DFM) team.
• Partner with global program teams to architect firmware project schedules and manage critical dependencies.
• Orchestrate team sprints and backlog prioritization using Agile methodologies to balance innovation with stability.
• Drive continuous improvements in the firmware development lifecycle through advanced CI/CD practices and automated workflows.
• Manage and mentor a world-class team of engineers through active performance management and professional development.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between firmware, hardware, and system software teams.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in the SSD or embedded storage domain, including NAND media management and hardware-software interfaces.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or complex projects focused on embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware development and Python for automation.
• Strong track record of managing products through the entire development cycle (concept to GA).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) practices.
• Ability to work onsite from the Bangalore office.
