Engineering Manager, Financial Data Quality

Responsibilities

• Own financial data quality end-to-end, ensuring consistency, freshness, and accuracy across billing and revenue flows.
• Lead a team of software and data engineers to drive the strategy and execution of bringing data capabilities in-house.
• Partner with Finance and Go-To-Market (GTM) stakeholders to define data needs and ensure reliability as systems scale.
• Establish mechanisms for data quality monitoring, validation, and observability to maintain high trust in metrics.
• Ensure data models and reporting outputs support both operational needs and complex finance workflows.

Requirements

• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of software and data engineers.
• Strong SQL skills and deep expertise in data modeling, validation, and lineage.
• Proven experience with system migrations or reducing vendor dependency.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical plans.
• A strong focus on operational excellence, including monitoring and building resilient systems.
