Engineering Manager Filtration - R&D

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to an interdisciplinary innovation team in the filtration field
• Manage the development of new filtration products and systems from concept through prototyping and handover
• Drive structured innovation and development processes within the R&D department
• Provide technical leadership in filtration media, fluid mechanics, pressure systems, and material selection
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate laboratory trials, prototype testing, and validation programs
• Ensure robust, reproducible test results and derive actions from root-cause analyses
• Collaborate closely with New Product Development, product management, production, quality, and sales teams
• Identify emerging technologies, new materials, and market trends to drive future development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in product development, R&D, or an innovation environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and developing technical teams
• Strong technical knowledge of filtration principles, fluid mechanics, and pressure systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex innovation projects and prioritize effectively
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
