About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to an interdisciplinary innovation team in the filtration field
- Manage the development of new filtration products and systems from concept through prototyping and handover
- Drive structured innovation and development processes within the R&D department
- Provide technical leadership in filtration media, fluid mechanics, pressure systems, and material selection
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate laboratory trials, prototype testing, and validation programs
- Ensure robust, reproducible test results and derive actions from root-cause analyses
- Collaborate closely with New Product Development, product management, production, quality, and sales teams
- Identify emerging technologies, new materials, and market trends to drive future development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Extensive experience in product development, R&D, or an innovation environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and developing technical teams
- Strong technical knowledge of filtration principles, fluid mechanics, and pressure systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex innovation projects and prioritize effectively
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
