Engineering Manager - Drive Qualification

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing multi-level validation engineering team in Bangalore.
• Own the end-to-end validation strategy and execution roadmap for core qualification domains, including PCIe, NVMe/OCP, and power-loss robustness.
• Partner with global hardware, firmware, and program management stakeholders to align on test coverage and coordinate issue triage.
• Deliver clear risk assessments to dictate release readiness for enterprise storage platforms.
• Champion the expansion of Python and Linux-based automation frameworks, regression infrastructure, and data dashboards.

Requirements

• Proven engineering leadership experience, specifically leading and mentoring technical validation or engineering teams.
• Deep technical expertise in enterprise storage, SSDs, firmware, or complex platform testing.
• Robust knowledge of industry standards such as PCIe, NVMe, or OCP.
• Strong program and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage complex technical timelines.
• Practical familiarity with Python and Linux-based test environments and automation.
• Ability to work onsite from the Bangalore, India office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data-driven dashboards to optimize testing workflows.
• Experience in system-level stress testing and SSD qualification workflows.
