Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive predictable, high-quality delivery with strong risk and dependency management
• Establish and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, and production readiness
• Lead people management activities including coaching, feedback, and career development
• Build and maintain a motivated, accountable, and psychologically safe team culture
• Develop and maintain a 12-month technical roadmap aligned with business and platform strategies
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, DevOps, and cross-functional teams
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members

Requirements

• Proven experience as an engineering manager or similar leadership role in software development
• Strong technical background with ability to review and challenge technical designs
• Deep understanding of software delivery processes, testing strategies, and production readiness
• Demonstrated success in people management, coaching, and building high-performing teams
• Experience with Java, Spring, RestAPI, AWS (Kafka, Postgres), and GrafanaCloud
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and SaaS-first approaches
• Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills
