Engineering Manager, Cybersecurity Products

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the team through hiring, performance management, and culture building
• Stay close to customers, design partners, and the security community to inform product direction
• Own architectural decisions across the full stack, including agentic systems and model orchestration
• Coordinate with GTM, partnerships, and other product areas
• Grow the next layer of leadership on the team

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years of engineering management experience
• Proven track record of shipping cybersecurity products in production
• Experience taking a team from prototype to scaled deployment
• Technical and hands-on approach to design reviews and coding
• Strong product instincts and ability to communicate across functions
• Deep commitment to Anthropic's mission and responsible AI development

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on security expertise in areas like application security, incident response, or detection engineering
• Experience building products on LLMs, including agentic systems and prompt iteration
• Experience in strict data-handling environments (BYOC, CMEK, or regulated industries)
• Experience working closely with research teams to translate capabilities into products
• Experience with ecosystem partnerships, MCP, CI/CD, or source-control integrations
