Watershed is the enterprise sustainability platform. Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization.
Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line manager leading the Cloud Infrastructure team through people, technical, and product leadership
- Lead the team through growth phases, including recruiting and adapting the team's charter and vision
- Partner with Engineering, Security, and Finance functions to set direction and priorities
- Own the foundational infrastructure powering multi-region deployment on GCP
- Potentially expand scope to managing sibling foundational teams
Requirements
- 1-4 years of direct engineering management experience
- 6+ years of total developer and management experience
- Strong platform engineering background building business-specific systems
- Hands-on experience with GCP or comparable cloud providers
- Experience with containerized compute, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, multi-region database architecture, observability, and cloud security
- B2B or enterprise SaaS experience
- Ability to work from the San Francisco HQ 4 days per week
