Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Create, embed and maintain a strong safety culture and H&S compliance
• Drive asset reliability through effective preventative maintenance
• Reduce breakdowns and reactive maintenance to improve plant availability
• Manage contractors and ensure safe systems of work
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis and implement long-term engineering solutions
• Plan and execute shutdown activities to minimise downtime
• Manage engineering OPEX and contribute to CAPEX planning

Requirements

• Previous engineering or maintenance management experience
• Experience managing health and safety in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Engineering or asset management qualification
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Budget and P&L management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and tools like Trello or Slack
• Strong coaching and performance management skills
