Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow functional software engineering teams, managing up to 3 teams.
• Define and promote team ways of working, hiring, and training strategies.
• Create an environment that fosters both soft skills and technical engineering excellence.
• Develop high-level strategic plans to ensure teams have the right competencies and dynamics.
• Identify and resolve anti-patterns or dysfunctions impacting team performance.
• Ensure software delivery meets high standards for security, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Navigate stakeholder relationships from individual team members to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience in people management.
• Proven experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and make quick decisions.

• J2EE and Spring framework
• Microservices architecture
• Cloud Native app development
• DevOps practices
• Security Testing
