Engineering Manager - Autonomous Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers developing autonomous platform technologies
• Contribute hands-on to architecture design, code reviews, and technical problem-solving
• Drive engineering best practices including code quality, testing strategies, and documentation standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and researchers
• Take ownership of the software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or electrical engineering
• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years in technical leadership or engineering management roles
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with real-time systems, embedded systems, or autonomous systems
• Ability to work in a fully English speaking environment
• Flexibility to attend virtual meetings with the International team at least two nights per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices
