Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Recruit, nurture, and mentor talents to build high-performing engineering teams
• Lead software engineers to ensure successful execution and unlock team creativity
• Drive key business outcomes and contribute to long-term service strategy and objectives
• Partner with architects to build scalable technical solutions and maintain high standards for quality, security, and user experience
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to extend product vision and manage project status
• Enhance engineering efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Promote best practices in leveraging AI to increase productivity within the team

Requirements

• 10-14 years of industry experience in designing and developing platform components and cloud-scale services
• 4+ years of experience in people management, mentoring, and leading development teams
• Hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot
• Proficiency with AWS services including SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and Lambda
• Experience developing RESTful web services and integrating with heterogeneous clients
• Strong knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker
• Proven ability to manage geo-distributed teams across different time zones
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
