Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Recruit, nurture, and mentor talents to build high-performing engineering teams
• Lead software engineers to ensure successful execution and unlock technical creativity
• Drive key business outcomes and contribute to the long-term strategy of platform services
• Partner with architects to build scalable technical solutions and establish global engineering partnerships
• Maintain high standards for quality, security, scalability, and user experience
• Research and prototype new technologies and patterns to enhance engineering efficiency
• Manage project status, mitigate risks, and help teams navigate technical uncertainties
• Promote best practices in leveraging AI to increase team productivity

Requirements

• 10-14 years of industry experience in designing and developing cloud-scale platform components
• 4+ years of experience in people management, mentoring, and leading development teams
• Hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot
• Proficiency with AWS services including SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and Lambda
• Experience developing RESTful web services and integrating with heterogeneous clients
• Strong knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Docker
• Proven ability to manage geo-distributed teams across different time zones
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
