Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support engineers while setting clear technical direction for the pod
• Build a high-ownership, growth-oriented culture through effective feedback and coaching
• Contribute to key architectural discussions and hands-on problem-solving with senior engineers
• Partner with Product to challenge requirements and ensure alignment on priorities
• Drive end-to-end execution by planning, prioritizing, and tracking engineering work
• Maintain high engineering standards to ensure the delivery of reliable, well-tested systems
• Own pod-level metrics such as latency, success rates, and efficiency

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in software engineering
• Proven track record of transitioning from an individual contributor to a people manager
• Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a language-agnostic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to combine hands-on technical expertise with effective team leadership
