Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team
• Support team members' technical and professional growth through regular feedback and coaching
• Partner with product, design, and data teams to scope and deliver complex projects
• Drive the buildout of Arch's core platform and new offerings
• Identify and prioritize infrastructure and process improvements to increase velocity

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience managing and growing engineering teams
• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineers
• Strong technical foundations for architecture discussions and code reviews
• Experience partnering with product and design to deliver projects on time
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical and business contexts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the fintech space or investment platforms
• Experience scaling engineering teams during rapid startup growth
• Background in improving engineering processes like sprint planning or incident response
