Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a cross-functional engineering group working on Axion modules
• Define and own the technical roadmap, translating product vision into deliverables
• Drive software engineering best practices including architecture design, code reviews, and CI/CD
• Manage project execution, planning sprints, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones
• Collaborate with product management, UX/design, and hardware/integration teams
• Recruit top talent and foster a culture of ownership and innovation
• Communicate status, risk, and outcomes to senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in software engineering roles
• 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role (team lead or manager)
• Strong background in architecture and delivery of large-scale, high-performance software systems
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle
• Experience in mentoring and growing engineering teams
• US citizenship and eligibility for an active US Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in autonomy, robotics, simulation, or unmanned systems
• Familiarity with multi-domain systems and heterogeneous fleets
• Knowledge of real-time systems, sensor fusion, and HIL/SIL testing
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and large datasets
