Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Guide architecture and design for third-party integrations focusing on reliability, scalability, and security
• Oversee the full integration lifecycle from planning and development to testing and deployment
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to define integration roadmaps
• Set and uphold high engineering standards through code reviews and technical mentorship
• Monitor performance, resolve incidents, and conduct postmortems
• Shape product thinking alongside Product and Design teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role
• Proven experience working in Java and Python-based systems
• Deep understanding of third-party APIs and secure data transmission protocols (REST, SOAP, OAuth)
• Knowledge of Microservices, AWS, CI/CD Pipelines, Springboot, and Caching Mechanisms
• Required experience in FinTech or Payments (processors, gateways, or financial data providers)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
