Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers focused on high-quality engineering practices
• Drive execution on complex, high-priority projects while maintaining high standards
• Write and review code, contribute to architecture, and debug complex technical issues
• Partner with technical leaders to align team direction with product and engineering goals
• Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Java, Go, or similar languages
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams, recruiting, and mentoring talent
• Deep experience with distributed systems, databases, and large-scale architectures
• Strong technical judgment regarding architectural decisions
• Excellent communication skills to align engineers, PMs, and executives
• Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, early-stage startup environment

• Experience with test infrastructure or developer tooling
