Engineering Manager, AI Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead and build AI-first product experiences from inception to global scale
• Lead an engineering team and grow its scope over time
• Build an exceptional team by hiring well, coaching deeply, and creating a culture of ownership
• Shape direction alongside Product to turn big ideas into focused execution
• Set the technical bar and provide technical leadership or empower tech leads

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 4+ years of leading engineering teams
• Experience building and running infrastructure for customer-facing web applications
• Experience building and using AI-powered products in production
• Proven collaboration with product managers and designers
• Strong judgment in technical tradeoffs
• Experience managing managers (for Director candidates)
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex structures
