Engineering Manager, Agent Experience

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of 7–8 frontend, full-stack, and backend engineers
• Scope and break down complex projects into actionable, shippable work
• Run team rituals including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Manage scope, timelines, and blockers while tracking progress
• Represent the team in stakeholder discussions to align with product and design priorities
• Ensure high operational excellence, including technical debt management and healthy on-call rotations
• Stay technically engaged through architecture and design discussions

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience leading a team as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager
• Full-stack background with backend depth in Go, Python, or Node.js
• Proficiency with frontend technologies such as React
• Strong communication skills and comfort operating in an ambiguous, dynamic environment
• Proven track record of running complex projects across multiple engineering teams
• Experience hiring, recruiting, and mentoring engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure and cloud tooling (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Datadog)
• SRE background with experience in on-call, SLOs, and alerts management
• Experience building internal tooling, operational platforms, or complex, data-dense product UIs
