Affordplan works with 100+ hospitals across the country and is present in 20+ cities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of highly transactional and complex systems
• Drive the adoption of best practices in microservices architecture, NoSQL databases, and communication protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance through thorough analysis and optimization
• Oversee production and cloud architecture using AWS services
• Conduct performance evaluations and support professional growth of team members
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding new talent

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with team leadership experience
• Proficiency in system design principles and distributed systems
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Linux, Apache, MySQL, Redis, NodeJS, RDBMS, JavaScript, and MongoDB
• Strong familiarity with microservices and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to functional or event-driven programming paradigms
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
