Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the hotel engineering and maintenance team
• Oversee daily operations of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, fire and life safety systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities
• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Maintain compliance with local safety regulations and environmental standards
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs and projects
• Manage engineering budgets, inventory, spare parts, and maintenance records
• Train and develop engineering staff on technical skills and safety procedures

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 7–10 years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities management
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, DG sets, and BMS
• Proven experience managing a maintenance team in a hospitality or large commercial environment
• Expertise in preventive maintenance planning and implementation
• Proficiency in budget management and cost control
• Excellent troubleshooting and emergency response capabilities
