Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the Vascular manufacturing facility in Barceloneta.
• Manage and direct a team to ensure material availability and efficient utilization of manufacturing equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, material specifications, and cost reduction.
• Perform risk assessments of materials, processes, and equipment to prevent supply chain disruptions.
• Resolve complex technical problems using statistical data analysis and product/process knowledge.
• Manage relationships with major suppliers and vendors to ensure materials meet required standards.
• Mentor employees by sharing technical expertise and providing performance guidance.
• Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to support manufacturing and supply chain optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (MBA is desirable).
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in manufacturing and engineering environments.
• Proven experience in team supervision and leadership.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management and supply chain optimization.
• Exposure to risk assessments, material specifications, and supplier negotiations.
• Experience with cost/benefit and material usage analysis.
