Engineering Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow a preventive maintenance schedule and assist with repairs
• Inspect and repair windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, and drywall
• Perform wood finishing including sanding, staining, and varnishing
• Manage inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment
• Inspect and maintain refrigerators, ice makers, and plumbing fixtures
• Test and replace lights, outlets, switches, and electronics
• Assist with mechanical repairs and fire inspections
• Maintain safety standards and report hazards immediately

Requirements

• Safety-conscious with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of administrative and office procedures (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively
• Effective communication skills for safety reporting
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in preventive maintenance
• 1+ year experience in plumbing
• 1+ year experience in mechanical equipment maintenance
• 1+ year experience in painting
• 1+ year experience in wood refinishing
