About the role

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and perform preventive and predictive maintenance on packaging lines, manufacturing lines, and ancillary equipment.
  • Provide proactive troubleshooting and repair for packaging equipment, including Bosch Flowwrappers, Uhlmann Cartoners/Thermoformers, and Palletizers.
  • Conduct electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical evaluations and repairs.
  • Perform root cause analysis in collaboration with internal clients.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including logbooks and work orders, within the CMMS.
  • Adhere to all established policies, SOPs, and 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Support night shift operations (6 PM - 6 AM).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency using CMMS for preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and shop tools safely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary certificate or Associate degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience with specific packaging equipment (Bosch, Uhlmann, Pester).
  • Basic understanding of PLC, VFD, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food, or Nutraceutical industries.
  • Technical training in trades such as HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical.
