Engineering Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide area engineers and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and safe work assignments
• Ensure equipment and asset uptime meets production plans through effective PM methodologies
• Coach and guide maintenance technicians, assessing skill gaps and implementing necessary training
• Eliminate losses using Focused Improvement (FI) and Quality Improvement (QC) methodologies
• Implement preventative, predictive, and automation improvements to increase MTBF and maintain basic conditions
• Manage maintenance budgets, contracts, and project deliveries
• Validate autonomous maintenance standards performed by operators

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering
• 5+ years of maintenance experience within the FMCG or a related industry
• 2+ years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity
• Significant hands-on maintenance experience
• Proven skills in project delivery, budget management, and contract management
• Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Attained Professional Engineer status or membership in a professional institution
• Experience with root cause analysis and phenomena identification
