Engineering Logistics Technical Support Intern

Responsibilities

• Work intensively on a project involving the commissioning of a pick robot, focusing on hardware and software support
• Collaborate closely with external suppliers during the commissioning process
• Create and maintain test plans, prepare for qualifications, and coordinate plant assembly
• Gain insights into logistics and automated contact lens picking and shipping processes
• Support daily operations and contribute to optimizations and problem-solving in automation and plant commissioning
• Communicate with various internal interfaces and take on responsibilities within the automation department

Requirements

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Strong interest in robotics, automation, and logistical processes
• Ability to understand technical documentation and testing methodologies
• Organized, structured, and reliable approach to tasks with a high degree of responsibility
• Proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2)
• Strong MS Office skills and general IT competence
• Previous experience through industrial internships or vocational training is a plus
