Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP), Sensorentwicklung Wassertechnologie

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute assigned tasks and projects within the program rotations
• Conduct practical laboratory work in sensor development, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, or related disciplines
• Plan, perform, document, and evaluate experiments using a structured scientific approach
• Analyze experimental data, identify trends, interpret results, and derive technical conclusions
• Support the development, characterization, and optimization of sensor concepts, analytical methods, materials, or measurement principles
• Contribute new analytical approaches, methods, or technical improvements to your area of responsibility
• Complete all required program training and participate in Xylem Watermark community activities

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Material Science, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field
• Passion for technology and a strong commitment to a technology-oriented career in R&D
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and structured way of working
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, co-op, or research experience in a Research & Development (R&D) environment
