Engineering Lead II

Responsibilities

• Lead three customer-facing engineering teams across Onboarding & Activation, Mobile, and Office Productivity
• Coach and develop engineers across multiple disciplines to grow technical and leadership skills
• Shape the technical vision and roadmap for mobile applications, platform services, and productivity tooling
• Partner with Product and Design to integrate AI, notifications, and mobile experiences into customer workflows
• Guide architectural decisions for Backend-for-Frontend services and Office integrations
• Collaborate with AI, Search, and Platform teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Drive engineering excellence and use product analytics to inform prioritization
• Hire and onboard exceptional engineering talent as teams scale

Requirements

• Experience leading high-performing product engineering teams for customer-facing products at scale
• Strong technical background in architecture, system design, and API integrations
• Experience leading teams responsible for mobile applications, productivity tooling, or desktop integrations
• Understanding of API-first architectures and integrating multiple platform services
• Experience delivering AI-powered product experiences
• Product-minded approach to translating customer problems into technical solutions
• Proven track record of balancing engineering quality with fast, iterative delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building mobile-first or multi-surface product experiences
• Experience with Microsoft Office Add-ins or Excel integrations
• Background in AI-native product development
• Experience with notification-driven products and engagement systems
• Experience with content-rich, workflow-heavy B2B SaaS products
• Experience in financial services, market data, or research products
• Experience scaling teams through rapid organizational growth
