Engineering Lead I - Consumer Onboarding

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their professional growth and empowerment.
• Partner with Product Managers to shape the roadmap and set technical and product visions.
• Ensure the team delivers on product goals using robust and scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain high standards for quality by staying close to the technology and product execution.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with other engineering leads to align work with the wider technical strategy.
• Own the hiring, growth, and development of the engineering team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring software engineers.
• Strong product and customer mindset with experience building customer-facing products.
• Technical expertise in OOP languages such as Java or similar modern technology stacks.
• Experience building and working with distributed, high-scalability systems and microservices architectures.
• Experience collaborating with Frontend and/or Mobile engineering functions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
