About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute assembly and fabrication of hardware prototypes at the PCB level
- Troubleshoot and remediate complex technical malfunctions in hardware prototypes
- Iterate on pre-production units to optimize system performance
- Utilize additive manufacturing for mechanical concepts and engineering improvements
- Manage deployment of firmware updates and software release cycles
- Communicate technical enhancements back to R&D departments
- Develop technical SOPs and diagnostic documentation
- Perform direct bring-up and QA assessment of novel engineering systems
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of technical engineering assistance in hardware prototyping
- Minimum 3 years of technical manufacturing support and assembly methodologies
- Proficiency in advanced soldering and wire termination
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
- Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Competency in Linux and Python for automation and data analysis
- Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification
