Engineering Lab Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and optimize lab spaces for engineering and manufacturing teams
• Continuously improve lab capabilities by implementing new technologies and optimizing workflows
• Maintain and manage inventory of lab equipment, tools, chemicals, and consumables
• Implement maintenance strategies and systems for lab organization, cleanliness, and user training
• Build prototypes, run tests and experiments, and provide hands-on technical support to engineers
• Ensure all spaces comply with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and familiarity with R&D lab equipment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and lab operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to medical device development
• Experience with inventory management systems and quality control processes
