Engineering Lab Manager

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their flagship platform, HMND-01 Alpha, is currently running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized lab environment
• Track and restock components, consumables, tools, and lab equipment
• Manage procurement processes and work with vendors
• Kit parts for engineering builds and repairs
• Assist engineers with equipment setup, maintenance, and calibration of tools like oscilloscopes and soldering stations
• Coordinate deliveries and manage lab access
• Support onboarding of new team members to lab tools and processes
• Enforce lab safety policies

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in an electronics, engineering, or hardware lab environment
• Experience managing physical inventory and vendor coordination
• Familiarity with component and inventory management tools
• Comfort handling electronic components, PCBAs, and cables
• Expertise with ESD handling protocols
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with basic soldering, rework, or electronics assembly
• Exposure to robotics or electromechanical systems
• Experience in a hardware startup environment
• Proficiency with Notion, Jira, or similar documentation tools
• Experience with PLM tools like TeamCenter or Arena
