About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general care and maintenance of the Engineering Lab
- Assist in building and testing prototypes using mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
- Document test processes and results accurately
- Assist with the research, design, and construction of new test equipment
- Coordinate research or test projects from inception to completion
- Perform failure analysis and document findings
Requirements
- Enrollment in a two-year or four-year technical program
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power technologies
- Ability to work on projects individually and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
- Availability for a one-year internship with a minimum of 12 hours per week
