Engineering Lab Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform general care and maintenance of the Engineering Lab
• Assist in building and testing prototypes using mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical test equipment
• Document test processes and results accurately
• Assist with the research, design, and construction of new test equipment
• Coordinate research or test projects from inception to completion
• Perform failure analysis and document findings

Requirements

• Enrollment in a two-year or four-year technical program
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power technologies
• Ability to work on projects individually and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
• Availability for a minimum of 12 hours per week
