About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and maintenance of global digital products
  • Contribute directly to feature development and maintenance within a mobile team environment
  • Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tooling for testing, development, automation, and release processes
  • Advocate for engineering perspectives when communicating with product and design teams
  • Implement and follow a quality strategy that supports the team's delivery goals
  • Follow best development practices to ensure continuous improvement and world-class solutions

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing development teams
  • Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving
  • Experience with backend (Kotlin) and/or frontend (React) integrations
  • Experience working with RESTful services and micro-services architecture
  • Advanced knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts (unit, integration, regression, automation, etc.)
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in environments that utilize and stimulate DevOps culture
  • Ability to work autonomously to recognize and prioritize tasks based on impact
