Engineering Java Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team in the development and maintenance of global digital products
• Contribute directly to feature development and high-quality backend and frontend integrations
• Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tooling for testing, development, automation, and release processes
• Advocate for engineering perspectives when communicating with product and design teams
• Implement a quality strategy that supports the team's delivery goals and follows best development practices

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computing field
• Proven experience managing development teams
• Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with Java (backend) and React (frontend) integrations
• Expertise in RESTful services and micro-services architecture
• Advanced knowledge of software testing concepts, including unit, integration, and automation
• Experience working within Agile methodologies
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in environments that utilize and stimulate DevOps culture
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to process improvement
