Engineering Internship

Responsibilities

• Support shop efficiency, organization, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Implement 5S methodologies (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to improve shop layout and tool organization
• Assist with the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of industrial turbocharger systems
• Shadow experienced technicians and engineers to learn complex rebuild processes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace in accordance with safety protocols
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, rigging, and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in hands-on, mechanical, and manufacturing work
• Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to industrial equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting and follow strict safety procedures
