Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Revise 2D and 3D drawings in accordance with Engineering Change Management procedures
• Create fully constrained 3D models for products ranging from simple components to complex assemblies
• Develop simplified 3D models and general layout drawings of equipment for Sales inquiries
• Assist engineers in developing design solutions for existing and new products (Lifecycle Management / R&D)
• Provide cross-departmental support to Quality, Engineering, Assembly, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams
• Interact with shop floor personnel to assist in solving manufacturing problems
• Adhere to and promote company safety rules and core values in all work activities

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an accredited mechanical engineering or similar discipline postsecondary program
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk products, including Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault
