Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the Nuclear Projects – Oak Ridge Group by assisting professional engineers with project coordination
• Assist with data collection and the use of computer-assisted engineering software
• Work alongside professional engineers and designers to solve real-life engineering challenges
• Contribute fresh ideas to the team while fostering a culture of continuous learning

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
• Rising sophomore, junior, or higher preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• United States Citizenship is required
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Previous internship experience related to the field of study
• Residency in the Knoxville, TN area
