Engineering Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Fabricate key pieces of pyrolysis equipment from design drawings and sketches
• Provide written and verbal feedback on equipment design to improve manufacturability
• Use and maintain shop tools, including CNC plasma tables and rotary welding tables
• Navigate Onshape CAD to interface with design engineers
• Collaborate with procurement for inventory management and sub-assembly workflows
• Participate in quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet design intent
• Record work and documentation in Confluence, JIRA, and Google Product Suite

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly experience
• High quality MIG/TIG welding skills (specifically 304 stainless)
• Ability to interpret and implement designs from technical drawings
• Experience with pipe and tube fitting/fixtureing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in awkward physical spaces
• Proficiency with digital communication and documentation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience welding exotic metals
• Knowledge of welding codes (AWS, ASME, API)
• Experience with orbital tube welding or pipe weldment assembly
• Experience with CNC operations or CAD software
• Ability to work with external suppliers
