Engineering Director, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Own the overall frontend team across core business verticals including Trading and Payment, managing hiring, development, and pipeline building.
• Lead technical design and delivery for core features such as trading systems, wallet management, AI-powered products, and payment gateway integrations.
• Drive technical stack alignment and establish high engineering quality standards regarding crypto security, private key protection, and compliance.
• Integrate AI into product decisions and design paradigms to reshape user expectations and R&D efficiency.
• Partner with Product, Backend, Security, and Compliance teams to drive cross-functional outcomes through technical judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including at least 5+ years managing technical teams.
• Deep command of core frontend technologies (React or Vue internals, engineering toolchains, and performance optimization).
• Proven track record leading frontend for products with 1M+ DAU in high-concurrency, high-availability environments.
• Strong understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, including CEX/DEX mechanics, wallet signing mechanisms, and tools like ethers.js, wagmi, or viem.
• Ability to navigate the technical tensions between security, compliance, and user experience.
• Familiarity with integrating AI into product design and workflows.
