Engineering Director, Frontend Business Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the overall frontend team across core business verticals including Trading and Payment, managing hiring, development, and pipeline building.
• Lead technical design and delivery for core features such as trading systems, wallet management, AI-powered products, and payment gateway integrations.
• Drive tech stack alignment and evolution while establishing high engineering quality standards for crypto security, including private key security and frontend attack prevention.
• Partner with Product, Backend, Security, and Compliance teams to drive cross-functional outcomes through technical judgment.
• Integrate AI into product decisions and design to reshape product paradigms and R&D efficiency.
• Communicate technical value and business judgment clearly to engineers, product managers, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including at least 5+ years managing technical teams.
• Deep command of core frontend technologies (React/Vue internals, engineering toolchains, performance optimization).
• Proven track record leading frontend for products with 1M+ DAU in high-concurrency, high-availability environments.
• Strong understanding of crypto mechanics, including CEX/DEX trading, Web3 wallets, and signing mechanisms.
• Ability to drive cross-team collaboration and standard adoption through technical influence.

• Experience with high-concurrency environments and large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of how AI is reshaping product design and user expectations.
• Solid full-stack capabilities with the ability to drive substantive backend and API discussions.
