Engineering Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate backend engineering teams responsible for Pricing platforms to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality deliveries.
• Drive execution and delivery across pods, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and improve team flow and predictability.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and other engineering teams to define and evolve technical solutions.
• Support developer career growth through regular feedback, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Promote engineering excellence by ensuring adoption of best practices in software design, observability, and reliability.
• Maintain hands-on involvement with monitoring, code reviews, configuration tasks, and deployments.
• Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and a DevOps mindset.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading backend engineering teams.
• Strong experience with the Java ecosystem and backend development.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with high-scale systems across multiple countries or regions.
• Background in pricing, e-commerce, or financial domains.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams.
