Engineering Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobile (Android/Kotlin) and backend (Java) development teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
• Act as the team's Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies and removing impediments
• Advocate for the engineering perspective when communicating with product and design stakeholders
• Implement and follow development best practices to drive continuous improvement
• Provide a quality strategy that supports the team's delivery goals
• Support developers' career growth through regular feedback and 1:1 meetings

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computing field
• Previous experience leading development teams
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin development
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and micro-services architecture
• Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented design
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Knowledge of software testing concepts including unit, integration, and automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an environment that utilizes and stimulates DevOps culture
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complex problem-solving
