Engineering Associate

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the engineering of tower and compound locations including site layout, grading, and stormwater management
• Develop construction plan reviews and production for telecommunications equipment upgrades
• Design new conduit routes for fiber optic utility companies and existing fiber optic facilities
• Prepare and review construction drawings for completeness before final PE review
• Attend site walks with clients, landlords, and contractors to evaluate existing site conditions
• Perform field visits, site surveys, audits, and third-party inspections on telecommunications installations
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including site acquisition, land use, and RF engineering
• Maintain internal and client databases and project trackers
• Report clear and complete status updates to internal and client managers

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred (B.S. Engineering or Engineering Technology a plus)
• 0-2 years of work experience in a professional engineering environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecommunications industry experience
• Proficiency in Civil 3D 2018
• Professional understanding of engineering design principles and standards
